The agenda for Tuesday's double-header meeting didn't arrive until after midnight. One thing that caught my eye was a proposed ordinance to establish the title of "Chief of Staff" in Plainfield. There is another proposed ordinance to establish a salary band for that title. A third ordinance would amend the salary band for the title of chief financial officer, which currently has a maximum of $125,000. Looks like it might be going up?
If the council packet is available today (Saturday) at the Plainfield Public Library, more details will be posted here. If not, we shall find out together at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday what it's all about.
